Upper Grades
Our upper grades program (Advancing Achievers) provides a challenging academic program in a nurturing, adventure-filled environment from kindergarten through sixth grade. Cultivating a desire for learning starts with balancing traditional instruction, experiential learning, and critical thinking. Besides offering a solid curriculum in the conventional basics (reading, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and history), other classes such as music, art, Spanish, research and library skills, physical education, gardening, agriculture, and technology complete a well-rounded educational and relational experience. Other learning experiences at Atlanta Achievers Academy include extracurricular activities, after-school programs, field trips, etc.
Individualized Learning
We believe in the power of individualized learning and cater to each child's learning style. Our teachers work closely with parents and students to understand their individual needs and create an academic plan that fosters success. Our personalized approach to education ensures that each student reaches their full potential.
STEAM
Science & Technology, interpreted through Engineering & the Arts, all based in Mathematical Elements. STEAM provides the framework for a new approach towards learning – replacing rote memorization and testing with methods that are dynamic, student-centered, project-based, problem-solving, messy, and exciting.
Dance, Music & Performing Arts
The Academy’s Fine Arts program develops the creative potential in each student, a process that is both intellectual and experiential. A rich, varied experience in the arts is essential to educating the whole child.

Extracurricular Activities
Technology
Technology is an essential tool for teaching at Achievers Academy. The educational technology curriculum educates students to meet challenges with logic and creativity using various technologies.
Though technology is a valuable tool, we strive to balance the digital and non-digital realms in our students' lives. We continue to look at technology as a way to accomplish better what we have always tried to do at Achievers Academy: help children develop into thoughtful, articulate, and empathetic world citizens.
Gardening & Agriculture
Students engage in growing successful school gardens while using the garden environment for effective learning, enhancing the connections between gardens and good nutrition, and understanding the role of agriculture in our food system.
Physical Education
The Physical Education program is designed to introduce students to a wide range of individual and group skills that improve different motor abilities. The Physical Education program promotes healthy lifestyles in young people, taking into account the physical, social, and intellectual development of young children.
Visual Arts
Children love to create visual art. Visual art experiences help children develop skills such as critical thinking, self-expression, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. Our teachers focus on process-based art education, in which the experience of creating art is valued over the end product.
